It is set only when you click the language switcher, and it never leaves this domain:
- Name: skh_lang
- Purpose: remembers your language choice on the homepage
- Type: first-party, functional
- Lifetime: one year
What we do not use
No analytics cookies, no advertising or retargeting cookies, no social media widgets, and no third-party cookies of any kind.
Analytics and fonts, without cookies
The aggregate page-view analytics we use is cookieless. The fonts on this site are Google Fonts, but they are self-hosted at build time, so your browser never makes a request to Google to load them.
How to refuse or clear it
Simplest way: do not click the language switcher. You can also clear cookies in your browser settings at any time. The site works fully either way; you would just lose the homepage's memory of your language.
Why there is no cookie banner
Cookie banners exist to ask permission for cookies that are not essential. Since the only cookie here is functional and nothing non-essential is ever set, there is nothing to ask permission for.
