Who is responsible for your data

The short version

This site does not ask you to sign up for anything, and there is no account to create. Just by browsing, you give us almost nothing to collect.

What we collect

The only personal data you send us directly is what you choose to put in the contact form: your message, plus your name and email if you fill those in. Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs, including IP addresses, as part of running the site. We also use aggregate, cookieless analytics that count page views without identifying you.

What we do not do

A few things we deliberately do not do:

• No accounts and no passwords.
• No advertising and no advertising profiles.
• We do not sell or share your data for marketing.
• No cross-site tracking.

Who else handles data on our behalf

We use Vercel Inc. (USA) to host the site, and FormSubmit (formsubmit.co) to relay contact form messages to our inbox. Both are based outside Thailand, so using this site can involve a transfer of data abroad.

How long we keep things

We keep contact messages for as long as we need them to answer you and to keep a record of corrections made to the directory. Server logs are kept according to our host's own retention schedule, not ours.

Your rights under Thai law

Thailand's Personal Data Protection Act gives you the right to access and receive a copy of your data, to correct it, to have it erased, to object to how it is used, and to withdraw consent. You can exercise any of these by emailing hi@saphankhwai.com. You also have the right to complain to Thailand's Personal Data Protection Committee.

Children

This site is not aimed at children and is not designed to collect data from them.

Changes to this policy

We update this page when something about how we handle data changes. The date at the top shows when it was last revised.
