The beef pad kaprao is pretty good, and the fried egg is done just right — crispy edges, a set white, and a yolk that's still liquid. The rice itself is good-quality and well prepared. Default spice is much milder than typical Bangkok spicing, so ask for it extra spicy if you want a normal kick.

Fourteen rai, no entrance fee, a six-storey school inside the wall, and nothing like quiet.
